I'm a piano player from Ashtabula, OH (where outside-of-Cleveland meets outside-of-Erie, PA).
In early 2008 I recorded Open Mic Nights, Empty Bottle Mornings at The I.V. Lab with Manny Sanchez, with Darren Garvey on drums, Brian Aiken on bass, and a guest appearance from Jodi Rosenthal of Lying Delilah. Since then I've been fortunate to meet some very talented drummers and bassists in Chicago. Listen to these guys, they're all outstanding: Darren Garvey (drummer/percussion for Cameron McGill, Andreas Kapsalis Trio, and Buddy Nuisance with Brian Aiken on bass), Cory Healey (drummer and percussion for Algernon and Van Ghost), Jay Marino (guitar in Buddy Nuisance and manager at the I.V. Lab), Bob Buckstaff (bassist in Company of Thieves and formerly Wax on Radio) and Chris Faller (bassist in Family Order and formerly the Hush Sound).
In January 2009 a friend introduced me to Company of Thieves, who needed a keyboard player for an appearance on Last Call with Carson Daily and a 2-month tour. Since then I've spent most of my time on the road with this great Chicago band, supporting their Wind-Up Records debut, Ordinary Riches.
With a week of off-time from Company of Thieves this summer, I recorded some new songs at Stereophonic Studio and the IV Lab. Jon Alvin engineered, with Bob Buckstaff on bass and Chris Faller on drums. The resulting 4-track EP is called Pretty Pictures EP.

Have a listen to some other bands I've played in or recorded with: Company of Thieves>, Delaney, Bajawalla, Atypical Science, Needers & Givers, and Lying Delilah.
Thanks to Ryan Bradley for this picture, from a Delaney show at Pacific University in Oregon.
I'm glad this isn't the time I face-planted. Of that event there are no pictures, only scars...
